Taiwan’s Machinery Industry – Current State and Development Potential
According to IEK Consulting, in 2018 Taiwan’s machinery industry had an export value of US$27.4 billion. The top three export markets – China, the United States and Japan – accounted for a combined output value of NT$1.18 trillion, an increase of about 7.3% and a continued record high. A number of factors, primarily the stabilization of global oil prices and exchange rates, a recovery of the major industrial economies of Europe at the end of 2016, as well as an industrial upgrade in China leading to an expansion in automation and demand for new equipment, have contributed to remarkable growth in the output values of two industries: high-tech equipment and metal-processing machine tools. While 2017 saw declines from 2016 in a few categories (namely, industrial machinery, other machinery, and metal molds), other secondary machinery industries in Taiwan, including high-tech equipment, metal-processing machine tools, mechanical transmission components, and fluid machinery, all showed increasing output values.

Global Machinery Industry Trends - Machine Tools Grow by Leaps and Bounds
According to an April 2018 report by Taiwan’s Department of Statistics, machine tools are the principal export of the global machinery industry. And according to research by Gardner Publications, global purchases of industrial machines have remained steady at US$80-90 billion in recent years. In 2018, global spending on machine tools was about US$91.9 billion, an increase of 4.8% compared to 2017 and the largest increase since 2011. With the steady growth of the global economy, the manufacturing industry is receiving an influx of orders, and with the rise of smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0, the global machine tool industry is flourishing once again.

HD886L-High Speed Milling Compound Machine satisfies high accuracy and fine surface requirements of molds and parts machining in aerospace and car industries. HD886L is the first-released in Taiwan that integrates milling and discharging processes on same machine. The design of the built-in motor and the side-mounted motor of this series is about 50% smaller than that of the traditional electric cylinder slide. It provides customers with more choices in narrow space and flat and low-assembly space applications. The new anti-skid cross roller slide patent allows customers to be more stable at high speed and high frequency. Whether it is used horizontally or vertically, the retainer will not be displaced and the slide will fall off. ALIGN DEMETER E1 is advanced model for farming with electric motor power, lessen noise and reach standard of zero exhaust. 15kgs load capacity is higher 36% than Engine Agricultural Helicopter to lessen times of takeoff and landing, and speed up spraying. It can be used for many applications like sonic deworming, wireless charge and interconnection.
It's two-blade heli with better weight load, flying time and wind-resistance, strong airflow down to spray evenly direct to the plant root prevent pollution in the air, spraying is 60 times faster than manpower.
It integrates AP2 auto flight, ground station, spraying system, 4KDV. For different terrain and height of plant, system can keep flight height and show image in real-time. Built in sensor to detect spray amount and power, auto return system is activated when it needs to be replenished, then restart the task. It's easy to plan spray task by ground station and user can review the history anytime, no needs to reset spraying task.

Chroma 17040 Regenerative Battery Pack Test System is a high precision, efficiency and safety charge/discharge system designed specifically for secondary battery module and pack tests. Decrease of adhesion between algae and shellfish, maintain good water circulation and permeability, have higher dissolved oxygen values, and form a friendly aquaculture environment.
400PLUS Series has 3 main designs, unequal flute spacing, unequal helix angle, and special flute geometry. Combined these 3 main advantages, we had tested 400 PLUS, we got the result that using 400PLUS can reduce the burr more efficiently, have the excellent surface, longer tool life, and also improve the chips disposal and get high-efficiency finishing. Moreover, 400PLUS with Speed Tiger own developed coating – ALTIBN, the wear rate of AlTiBN at high temperatures is superior to AlTiN and TiN. Based on the different processed requests, we offer 400PLUS not only for general application, but also for exotic materials with high performance (e.g., Titanium alloy, and Nickel/Inconel alloy) to satisfy the customers’ demands.
This product uses mirror-polished special ceramic material for the Z-axis set point station probe, with small surface coefficient of friction, corrosion resistance and rust-resistant characteristics. Through the mechanical structural analysis, the measured contact force and the maximum force to achieve the action set by the miniature tool machining reference point are calculated, supplemented by the improved inner spring structure, the optimization of the reset device design, and the embedded header collision avoidance design and inlay precision technology.
