The Thai government is implementing a 10-year plan to build Thailand into Asia's medical hub. The Thai government is actively introducing smart medical-related products and solutions, which are in line with Taiwan’s current industrial advantages.

In order to promote cooperation between Thailand and Taiwan in the field of Smart Healthcare, the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) Taiwan, R.O.C. and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) are organizing the ‘Thailand-Taiwan Smart Healthcare Seminar’ Trade Meeting 2019, to be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 13:30-17:50 in Ballroom 2 and 3 at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit . Taiwan Excellence Award-winning companies will present their Smart Healthcare technologies and innovative products to the Thai business community and media.

Six leading Taiwanese companies including HIWIN TECHNOLOGIES CORP, Advantech Co. Ltd., IEI Integration Corp., Mediland Enterprise Corporation, Imediplus Inc. and Faspro Systems Co. Ltd. will present twelve products - from surgery machines, rehabilitation machines and healthcare information terminals, to medical cameras.

HIWIN will introduce smart medical applications in surgery and rehabilitation. Robotic endoscope holders ensure stable scope views and prevent surgeons from dizziness and an inability to concentrate due to blurry and shaky images. The Robotic Gait Training System is a walking training system that combines weight-bearing standing, repetitive stepping and balance training for early-stage patients. It provides a multifunctional solution for gait rehabilitation therapy.

Advantech is a leading player in the Smart Hospital System and will introduce 8" Medical Grade Tablet, Innovative 15.6" Healthcare Information Terminal, which can streamline hospital workflows and improve patient care.

IEI provides a total solution to advance medical technology. Its product, 24 Medical Grade Panel PC, digitalizes data and can be used in operating stations. Traditionally, operating station batteries have been bulky and occupy space. The hot-swappable batteries reduce their total weight up to 5 kg.

Mediland’s product, Hyper Light Disinfection Robot, is a uniquely-designed robot made to prevent healthcare-associated infections for any healthcare facility, using the UVGI disinfection method.

Imediplus’ Electronic Stethoscope performs real-time sound waveforms to visualize auscultation, helping doctors identify heart murmurs more easily. It offers data upload to the cloud with real-time recording. In addition, Imediplus develops heart sound and phonocardiogram AI to help monitor heart-related diseases, helping doctors identify patients who require early treatment.

Faspro will present the ‘Medical Digitalization and Telemedical Application’. Its Wireless Head-Wear Medical Camera is the world's most unique innovative medical image recording solution, which integrates optical design, an image processing system, cloud-live broadcast platform, app, RF and other fields, and provides live video and image as documentation during medical treatment.

Thai Hospitals and entrepreneurs taking part in this event will have the opportunity to directly negotiate business deals with these six Taiwanese companies at a trade meeting, which aims to offer a better understanding of Taiwanese innovative products in terms of R&D, design and quality.
