The Himalaya Kattura is the next generation of Federal's studless winter tire designed specifically for markets in Central and South Europe. Aimed to enhance driving safety and stability in mild winter conditions, the Himalaya Kattura not only provides superior traction and controls on slush road conditions, but outruns leading brands with superb acceleration and braking performance. In addition, committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Federal's latest eco-friendly compounds are used for low rolling resistance. Drivers using the Himalaya Kattura will certainly see improved fuel mileage.
The innovative Himalaya Kattura is Federal's premium sedan tire designed to provide reliable all-winter traction, superior handling, and high durability. Featuring unidirectional tire tread with V-shaped grooves and staggered trapezium sipes, the Himalaya Kattura delivers more road surface grip for increased controls in wet weather conditions and light snow. Also, its shoulder area is bolstered by tie bars which help to improve tire rigidity and handling to ensure a safe and stable steering for winter trips. Collectively, these elements complement each other, resulting in superior acceleration performance than leading brands by 13 percent along with outstanding braking performance by five percent.
Aiming to reduce carbon dioxide emissions through improvements of vehicle fuel efficiency, the Himalaya Kattura boasts new generation tread compounds with reduced rolling resistance.
