1.Innovative rigid-flex board design; miniature, lightweight and compact
By miniaturizing module size with rigid and flex boards, Apacer’s SDM7 7P DP measures only 30(W) x 32(H) x 7.8(D) mm and weighs only 6.6g. While it offers capacity up to 256GB, its size is only 12% of the 2.5-inch disk and its weight is 90% less than traditional hard disk.

2.High-speed performance, stable signal quality
Using a combination of rigid and flex boards, the focus is on circuit design and reducing high-speed signal interruption to achieve signal stability, and screws are used to stabilize curvature of the flex board. New-generation SDM7 7P DP is powered by four-channel controller for speeds of up to 500MB/s read and 300MB/s write, making it the fastest miniature module in the industry.

3.Patented connector with built-in power solves power source problem for SATA connector
Using new-generation shorter 7-pin connector and Apacer’s patented (US 8517773) power design at both sides of the connector, the lightweight and small SDM7 7P/180D DP measures only 32.2mm high, effectively increasing air flow in a 1U chassis. Proprietary 7-pin SATA connector with built-in power operates without external power cable.

4.Unique hook design
To prevent cable from falling off or loosening due to impact or drop, the new SDM7 7P/180D DP SSD is designed with a unique hook that fits perfectly with the SATA slot on the motherboard. Highly resistant to vibration, it fully satisfies system makers’ stringent requirement for high stability.

5. CoreAnalyzer optimizes system operation
Built into the SSD firmware is Apacer’s unique CoreAnalyzer analysis software. It continuously gathers data on system access, and categorizes and statistically interprets read and write actions, and then present and analyze through the software. The software allows customers and users to understand the operation of the application system, thus adjusting it to achieve optimized SSD performance and life-span.
