Pihsiang started as manufacture of agricultural machinery, and moved into field of scooter. Early electric scooter only has three wheels and the stability is poor. Chairman Dr. Wu one day drove and overturned. This accident brought up the idea of four wheels scooters. The world's first patented four wheel electric scooter came in 1989.
