LVD Induction Lamp started the sales in 2007 in Taiwan. It is electrodeless. Its illumination principle relies basically on electromagnetic induction and gaseous discharge. It is composed of three main parts: lamp tube, magnetic ring and electronic ballast. The electrical current from the ballast is transformed into high frequency as it passes through the magnetic rings. The high frequency wave and hits the phosphor coated on lamp tube then generating light.
