The USTAR Ⅱ system is designed for extensive reconstruction of the hip and knee joint. Components have been designed based on over 20 years of clinical experience with the USTAR system and inherit the design concepts with the U2 Primary and Revision Knee system. Intraoperative surgical flexibility to convert different constraint level of implants or even to a limb salvage prosthesis with similar instrumentation concepts.
USTAR Ⅱ Hinge Knee features a small profile, pre-assembled hinge mechanism centered on the femur and tibia with a hinge assembly connected intra-operatively by a single screw.
USTAR Ⅱ Limb Salvage System characterizes a comprehensive range of segment and stem options, soft tissue friendly components with more secured connection. The bone preserving implant design allows the possibility to salvage more bone.
