The main concept of renouvo's research and development is to turn agricultural waste into low-carbon biomaterials. The main concept is to make these waste materials into naturally decomposable "sugarcane straws" that can be disposed of in a way that eliminates the need for disposal methods that increase environmental costs such as landfills or incineration.

With a carbon footprint of only 2.83 grams per unit as measured by the BSI inventory, we are able to ameliorate the long-standing problem of plastic pollution. By extending the life cycle of our resources, we hope to reverse linear production that depletes the earth's resources, and promote a circular economy that utilizes resources efficiently.
