Chroma 71241 được trang bị cảm biến theo tiêu chuẩn CIE1931 dành cho chức năng so màu, có thể đo chính xác độ sáng và màu sắc của màn hình. Người dùng có thể tự do chuyển đổi giữa các chế độ hiển thị khác nhau, bao gồm bốn chế độ đo cho tọa độ sắc độ xyY, TΔuvY, u’v’Y, XYZ và hai phương pháp đo để đo nhấp nháy, FMA và FLVL.
