Taiwan Excellence to participate in Vibrant Gujarat event, seek cooperation with its technological expertise

January 9th Ahmedabad – Buoyed by Gujarat’s positive business environment and demand for state-of-the-art technology, Taiwan Excellence will participate in Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit’s tradeshow from January 17 to 22, 2019 and showcase its most innovative and latest technology. Taiwan known for its impressive technology will take the opportunity as a means to leverage its expertise for the development of Gujarat

The Taiwan Excellence pavilion will showcase a range of products such as IoT solutions, smart healthcare equipment, machinery, lifestyle enhancement appliances and ICT products. Some innovative products will be showcased in India for the first time, underscoring Taiwan Excellence’s commitment to aligning with India's digital mission. The brands including Accton, Advantech, ASUS, Aver, AverMedia, Avision, CyberPower, Edimax, GIGABYTE, MOXA, Palmary, Plustek, SENOR, TSC, etc. will showcase their state-of-the-art products at the event.

Speaking about TE’s participation in the tradeshow Mr. James Huang, Chairman of Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said, “There is a great business potential in the state of Gujarat and we want to make the most of it. The environment is very conducive. The state government also offers a lot of cooperation opportunities and is very encouraging through its sustainable policies, incentives and ease of business. Taiwan Excellence is putting in great efforts to maximize viable business opportunities in the next few years in Gujarat.”

The Taiwan government seeks to promote the country’s culture of technological innovation and cutting-edge design with India and the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit offers an appropriate platform to strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations between both the countries.

In addition to the tradeshow, TAITRA, the country’s main trade promotion body will organize a seminar on the side-lines of the summit on January 19. During the event, the major focus will be on introducing Taiwan’s industrial development and technology as well as highlighting Taiwan’s future investment plans in India. The seminar will see important heavyweights and corporate delegates from Taiwan who are interested in the Indian market.

Among others driving bilateral trade and investment, currently smart solutions, hardware, software and electronics are some of the key offerings. Taiwan government is also very keen on contributing to PM Narendra Modi’s initiatives such as make in India, Digital India and

Skill India. Seminar will be one of the major events to explore collaboration opportunities between both the countries.
