HCMC, November 8th, 2017 – 04 key brands of water industry granted with Taiwan Excellence Award will present for the first time at the Vietnam’s Leading International Water Supply, Sanitation, Water Resources and Purification Event – VIETWATER 2017. The participation of Taiwan Excellence in such a comprehensive show on diverse solutions to all sectors in the water industry like VIETWATER expresses the effort of Taiwan Excellence in promoting Taiwanese water products to Vietnamese consumers in the upcoming year. 
 

At VIETWATER 2017, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion promises to be one of the attractions with the participation of 7 brands, 4 of which are Taiwan Excellence Award-winners including: Energy Management System, Long Chen Technology, Walrus Pump and Cashido. 
 

Entering the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, visitors will have the chance to directly experience and receive profound insight into various innovative and effective technologies built in products of water management, wastewater treatment, sanitation and purification from the 10th ranking economy in terms of innovation. This will also become an “information center” for Vietnamese businesses to gather and exchange knowledge and experiences from Taiwan, towards sustainable water management in Vietnam.
 

With a combination of IoT and ICT strengths, Taiwan excels in smart water tech with annual exports of pumps, valves, pipes, meters and water purifiers exceeding US$2 billion. In Taiwan, investment in water infrastructure is targeting smart water management and water reclamation, which will be supplying 10% of all water resources by 2030.
 

On the water industry’s development potentials and smart technologies, Mr. R. C. Shih, Representative of Taipei Culture and Economic Office in Vietnam highlighted: “A study by McKinsey Global Institute estimated that IoT technology in water systems could provide value of $7 billion to $14 billion per year. The quality and innovation in IoT is tapping the future of not only Taiwan but also the whole world. Therefore, as a leading player in global ICT and IoT industries, Taiwan in general, and Taiwan Excellence in particular wishes to share all the advances in this industry to Vietnam – a fast-growing economy, as well as a very important economic partner of Taiwan.”
 

Themed "Sustainable Water Development - International Experiences", besides the exhibition area, the 9th edition of VIETWATER also provides useful technical knowledge through international conferences and technical seminars from leaders in water management, wastewater treatment, sanitation and purification. 

Initiated by the Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade and organized by TAITRA, Taiwan Excellence Award represents the innovative and technological image of Taiwan’s most competitive industries. The 9th Vietnam’s Leading International Water Supply, Sanitation, Water Resources and Purification Event – VIETWATER, also at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) marks one of the last events of Taiwan Excellence 2017 Campaign in Vietnam. 
 

Held from November 8th – 10th, 2017 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), VIETWATER 2017 is the only water trade-event hosted by Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) and supported by Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction (MOC). VIETWATER 2017 is set to welcome more than 450 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions.
