Under the motto "Digital Horizons, Green Tomorrow," Taiwan Excellence showcases its fusion and innovation in green spirit, artistic literacy, and technological strength.

 

The Taiwan Expo, organized by the International Trade Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (TITA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), will debut in Berlin, Germany after continuing the internationally renowned series that has already made a significant impact in Washington and Tokyo. It will be held at the Telekom Hauptstadtrepräsentanz (Französische Straße 33a, 10117) from June 10th to 12th.

 

Taiwan Excellence will feature over 70 award-winning products from 26 leading Taiwanese companies at the expo. Recognized with the prestigious Taiwan Excellence Award, these products symbolize the highest quality and innovative design globally, making them the expo's centerpiece.

 

Focus on Work & Recreation + AI

With the theme of Work & Recreation + AI, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion at the expo showcases products spanning office equipment, fitness, ICT, electronics, and esports, with a captivating emphasis on cutting-edge AI technology. Highlighted AI PCs include Acer’s Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition and MSI’s Stealth 18 AI Studio A1V. Other products, such as Acer’s ebii E-Bike, MSI’s Smart Access Control System, IPEVO’s VOCAL HUB Wireless Audio System, and Asus’ ROG Phone 8 Pro are also equipped with AI applications.

 

Additionally, some products are combined with art, such as AUO Corporation's FindARTs High Fidelity ART Display, which offers colorful images and a comfortable viewing experience. Sauber manufactures innovative spatial filter solutions that are mounted on walls in electronically controlled picture frames. With this technology, Sauber has developed the world's thinnest air purifier. The FLAT-BT and FLAT-LITE filter frames will be presented.

 

In line with the slogan “Digital horizon, Green tomorrow” of the expo, eco-friendly products include Acer’s Aspire Vero laptop and Adata’s HC300 ECO External Hard Drive, both made with PCR material. O'right and Aromas offer carbon-free and environmentally friendly hygiene products. Paper Shoot’s Cork Camera and Paper Camera are made from sustainable resources. YUANG HSIAN’s AB65 Anti-Bacterial Socks not only kill 99.9% of pathogenic bacteria but also come from high-quality casting material. Its antimicrobial material is certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

 

In light of the popularity of sports in Europe, Taiwan Excellence also showcases fitness and leisure products, such as HSIN HE HSIN’s BAW Patented Air Cushion Shoes, Gee Hoo’s 'CYBO Cross Elliptical Trainer. Ible’s Wearable air purifier - reduce inhalable coronavirus, pollen(allergens), & PM2.5. The brand was awarded the CES 2020 and 2024 Innovation Awards. Airvida is currently sold in 15 countries.

 

 

The grand opening ceremony of the Taiwan Expo will take place on Monday, June 10 at 10:30 am.

 

VIP tour, VR World and exclusive presentations

 

After the opening ceremony, invited guests will be offered a VIP tour of the trade fair between 11:30 and 12:00. From Monday to Wednesday (June 10th to 12th), a series of activities and events will be held on the themes of tech, art, and sports. Exclusive presentations by market experts will convey the latest trends in the tech industry as well as in the art products and sports and leisure markets. In the Taiwan Excellence VR World, visitors can explore Taiwan's technology and culture in virtual spaces through an interactive environment. Here, they can immerse themselves in innovative technologies and even participate in Dragon Boat Racing.

 

Supporting German Youth Football Team

 

In the run-up to the trade fair, various events will get visitors in the mood. The youth football teams of SV Rot-Weiß Viktoria Mitte 08, supported by Taiwan Excellence, will be showing off their talent at the soccer flash mob at ALEXA on Alexanderplatz on June 1. As part of its commitment to cultural exchange and supporting local clubs, Taiwan Excellence is proud to sponsor the youth football team. This unique partnership reflects the nation's commitment to nurturing talent in sports and connects continents through the universal language of soccer. Visitors to the Taiwan Expo can celebrate this international collaboration!

 

Cultural Exchange between Taiwan and Germany

 

Artist Anja Riese will also design a unique Buddy Bear for the fair to express Taiwan’s image by showcasing its tourism, food, and culture, which will later be exhibited on the exhibition grounds. Additionally, she will paint a "TAIWAN" art installation with the theme of sustainability onsite at the expo.

 

The Berlin Ampelmännchen and Taiwan: Visitors can discover a fascinating piece of cultural history at the Taiwan Expo when Taiwan presents the history of the popular Berlin Ampelmännchen and its special connection to Taiwan. Since 1999, Taipei has adopted the iconic pedestrian signal "Xiaolüren", combining German design with the traffic on Taiwanese streets. Those interested in culture can explore the unique cultural fusion at the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion.
