Discover the best products from Taiwan starting today until May 5th at booths P105-P106, Challenger Hall 1, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, during Architect Expo '24, the leading architecture exhibition in ASEAN. Apart from promoting industry exchange between Taiwan, Thailand, and ASEAN, it also aims to present solutions to the challenges humanity faces, such as the "climate crisis", to help people adapt to the environment and address sustainable development challenges effectively.
Mr. Brian Lee, the Director of the Strategic Marketing Department at TAITRA, stated, "ARCHITECT has been an important platform for Taiwanese building material brands to participate in ASEAN. Thailand has been driving its economy towards BCG economy models in earnest, demonstrating a far-sighted vision in promoting sustainable economic and social development. Meanwhile, Taiwan, facing numerous natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, and floods, has experience in adapting to the environment, respecting nature, and promoting industries upgrading.
At this exhibition, Taiwan Excellence aims to exchange ideas with the Thai and ASEAN industries to fulfill social responsibility, and promote business and technological cooperation covering economic, social, and environmental aspects, especially in the fundamental human factors. Specialized companies like SanJeou, Hiss, and AMA, whether in terms of product offerings or technological collaboration, are poised to effectively lead Thailand towards achieving sustainability."
Heritage in Every Detail: Taiwan's Innovation for Thailand
As the global demand for sustainable and innovative solutions continues to rise, Taiwan stands at the forefront of architectural innovation, exchanging a wealth of expertise and state-of-the-art technologies with Thailand and ASEAN. Under the theme " Heritage in Every Detail: Taiwan's Innovation for Thailand," leading Taiwanese companies San Jeou, HISS, and AMA Tech are showcasing their groundbreaking contributions to Thailand's construction technology sector.
Mr. Jeffery Hung, General Manager of San Jeou, highlighted the significance of averting flood disaster, stating, "With our experience in complex construction projects requiring high precision, such as large-scale flood protection needs for the Taipei MRT underground system and aircraft maintenance hangars, we have extensive expertise. As Thailand faces severe flooding in urban areas, we believe our construction solutions and technology are urgently needed for Thailand."
Mr. Benson Tian, International Sales of Hiss, shared, "Hiss is a leading brand in Taiwan for luxury home products such as doors and windows, known for their high quality and precision. Recently, we introduced window technology capable of combating PM 2.5 and ultraviolet. Hence, our products are particularly beneficial and suitable as Thailand's population is grappling with unavoidable air quality issues and heatwaves."
Mr. Celestino Li, Sales Manager of AMA Tech, reinforced "During the COVID-19 pandemic, poor ventilation in factories contributed to virus spread. AMA offers highly efficient and cost-effective solutions, maintaining good air quality in factories and protecting workers from hazardous gases. Therefore, as Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor becomes a hub for foreign industrial investments, it is crucial to ensure workplace environments meet the required standards for employee safety."
Taiwan prioritizes strategic cooperation with Thailand over mere trade between nations, aiming to harness collective creativity to solve global challenges before seeking business opportunities. This strategic shift aims to transform from being merely an exporter to becoming a collaborative partner driving Thailand's BCG economy. It involves transferring problem-solving knowledge from Taiwan's adaptive experiences, and strengthening Thailand's resilience to national development challenges. Both countries boast diverse cultures, rich ecosystems, and face similar global challenges, especially climate change. This cooperation aims to establish sustainable mutual benefits based on trust, driving the BCG economy and elevating regional quality of life. It also aims to enhance future readiness to tackle forthcoming challenges effectively.
